What this notice covers

Cookies are small records a website can place in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser storage mechanisms. This notice covers switchoffer.app and explains the separate shopping browser journey. App privacy practices are at https://switchoffer.app/privacy.

Remembering your privacy choice

The local storage entry switch-privacy-preferences can contain your choice to keep optional tracking off, notice version and choice time. It contains no email address. The browser may keep the entry until you clear it. Optional campaign capture remains disabled regardless of an earlier saved choice.

Earlier campaign attribution

An earlier version used the session storage entry switch-early-access-attribution for campaign labels such as source, medium and campaign after permission. The current website does not collect new campaign labels and clears this entry when the page loads.

Earlier campaign labels submitted with an email request are separate from browser storage. Clearing browser storage does not erase those records. Use https://switchoffer.app/privacy-requests for help. This website does not install advertising pixels or session replay.

Hosting cookies

The recent scan observed __cf_bm, a Cloudflare bot management cookie. Cloudflare describes a 30 minute expiry after inactivity. Security challenges can involve other provider cookies. The scan also observed __Host-appgarden-visitor, a server cookie on switchoffer.app with a recorded 90 day duration. Its precise purpose and consent classification are being confirmed with the hosting provider. Our optional campaign setting does not control this server cookie. We do not claim it is necessary or that all platform cookies are blocked before a privacy choice.

The scan covered one page and is an inventory checkpoint, not proof of every cookie on every page or visit. A hosting preview can also use provider sign in cookies.

Privacy choices

Optional campaign capture is off. Privacy choices provides information and lets you save a preference to keep it off. You can also delete or block storage in your browser, although blocking hosting security features may affect access. This control does not manage provider cookies or cookies on Awin and merchant websites.

Awin and merchant websites

Choosing Shop brand opens an affiliate link and merchant website in the browser. Awin and the merchant may use their own cookies and tracking, with their own notices and choices. The website privacy setting here does not control those separate pages. A click is not proof of a purchase or commission.

The app catalog API does not use a cookie store. This does not mean the shopping browser is free of cookies. App analytics has its own optional setting in Account.
